Meet the Founder
BARSI, FOUNDER & CEO
I talk a lot about helping you align your business with your truth. Here’s mine: I have always been one to break the rules. It comes with the territory as a rebellious creative and feminist at heart.
As an actor auditioning in Hollywood, the roles available to me were “hot girl No. 1” or… well, that was it. Sick of the bullshit, I chose to quit auditioning and wrote my own roles. I cast myself and all of my friends, making a weekly science fiction audio drama podcast well before anyone (including myself) knew what podcasting was.
I loved this new, creative, rule-breaking medium so much, I put on my producer hat and did what every Hollywood has-been does — I made a movie about it. We premiered at Sci-fi London where we were received by the BBC and other renowned audiophiles, and nominated for best documentary at FilmQuest.
The podcast’s and film’s success emboldened me to quit my dreaded day job of 19 years, and I started this company.
It hasn’t been a perfect journey....

Did I have experience in producing or entrepreneurship before I jumped in? No. Did I experience other challenges, like suffering a debilitating head injury at the height of my business success? Yes. I pushed through the pain rather than let myself heal, and quickly burned out, leading me to explore mindset work that continues to influence my more recent journey. Did I let any of those obstacles stop me? Absolutely not.
It’s these experiences that fuel the strategies, processes, and values that make up the Boss-Goddess approach. Our content marketing agency is dismissing patriarchal standards, rejecting hustle culture, and instead pushing a much more radical agenda: that following your own feminine intuition can lead you to achieve your greatest business successes.
